A lifelong athlete, Louis Stack grew up in Calgary, where his passion for sport and adventure led him to competitive luge and speed skiing. After struggling with foot issues from birth and recovering from a knee injury, he sought better ways to regain strength, balance, and performance. His journey led him to develop the Pro Fitter, one of the world's first functional fitness machines, and our innovative balance and rocker boards.
For more than 40 years Fitterfirst has remained a proudly Canadian company, building and assembling the flagship Pro Fitter and its renowned line of wooden balance and wobble boards right here in Lethbridge, Alberta. We are proud to carry forward Louis’s vision of helping people stay active and age gracefully, continually introducing new and innovative products to support lifelong movement and well-being.
