  • Lateral Cross Training

Skiing, golf, tennis, and many other sports require excellent lateral stability and reaction skills. With the Pro Fitter, you can develop and master these skills in a fun and meaningful way.

  • Pelvic Girdle and Hip Stability

Every movement improves with a strong core and pelvic girdle. Work both legs together, or each one separately for muscle balancing.

  • Shoulder and Core Plank

The end plank engages your core and upper body. Focus on shoulder movement or a core pike tuck to push and pull the skate the full distance of the track.

  • Flexing, Rotating Footpads

Independent footpads develop superior foot, ankle, and lower leg strength and stability. Proper use helps identify and correct muscle imbalances.

  • 6 Tension Levels

4 cords, 2 light and 2 heavy, combine for 6 tension levels. They're fast and easy to change, with no tools needed.

  • Unique Rocking Base

The rocking base creates an unweighting sensation, like transferring from one carve to the next in fresh snow. End caps add more foot positions for multi-functional lower body exercises.

The First Choice of Serious Skiers and Medical Professionals for Over 40 Years

The Pro Fitter was on the front line of the functional fitness revolution of the 1980s and 90s. Sport medicine leaders loved the real-world function it gave their patients, while serious athletes were challenged by the skill it takes to master. Pro Fitters have been in athlete villages since Calgary's 1988 Winter Olympic Games, including Whistler and Vancouver in 2010.

The timeless design will help you ski better and stronger while reducing your risk of injury through improved balance, proprioception, strength, and confidence.

Made in Canada

The design was explored in the early 1980s by Louis Stack, a former competitive skier who faced multiple ski injuries early in his career. The Pro Fitter was created in 1985 with input from athletes and medical specialists focused on injury recovery, prevention, and elite sports performance.

"Balance is the Essence of Movement... Movement is the Essence of Life!"
